In modern times sushi takes many different forms and is beloved by many across the globe. So it might be surprising to know that when sushi originated in Japan it was meant to be very simple with only a few select flavors. This animation details this history and different types of sushi, as well as how to make traditional sushi. After creating the images in Illustrator I brought all the layers into After Effects and started animating.
