Title: Terraforming Mars Symposium Invitation
Art Director: Caleb Heisey
Category: Typography, Event Branding
The prompt for this project was to create an invitation for an event about Terraforming Mars held at the Franklin Institute. The process of terraforming Mars would involve many steps aimed to make Mars more like Earth so humans could inhabit it. I designed this invitation booklet to represent this transition through a series of colors from red to green. Each page continues this sequence and holds information about the different steps of terraforming Mars. The invitation also includes an RSVP card and envelopes.

Each page of the booklet is a different color and represents a different step in the process of terraforming Mars. These pages describe information about these steps in order, on the flip side of these pages is information about the event and the event schedule.
I designed these pages to be cut into different sized curves so that the pages together create an abstract topographic landscape. The back of the booklet holds a tear-away RSVP card which would be filled out and mailed back in the provided envelope.
